12-part course on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.

Each part will take one month. On the first of the month, you will be given the appropriate readings. In the middle of the month, you will get a video lecture that explains the current lesson. At the end of the month, there will be a live video call for questions and further explanation.

We will begin with perspective and background of Indic philosophy, the state of yoga and the environment in which the Yoga Sutras were compiled.

We will then proceed through the Yoga Sutras in detail, devoting 9 lectures to the text, with occasional digressions to explain concepts and context.

Finally, we will review and summarize the text as a whole, its place in the history of yoga, and what it means for modern practitioners.
