OVERVIEW & SUMMARY

Picture
There are two options for the 200 Hour Ghosh Yoga Foundational Level Teacher Training Program: this option consists of self paced video lectures culminating with an in-person intensive.

You will learn functional anatomy and the histories and philosophies of yoga through video series lectures. You will have a schedule to follow to ensure you are prepared for the in-person intensive. However, you will have freedom to adjust your personal study and practice to suit your schedule.

You will learn to address the needs of different student populations, different class lengths and difficulties, making you a versatile and effective teacher.

You will receive personalized teaching feedback regularly, and refine your understanding and teaching over time. The benefit of the longer course, is the ability to integrate the information effectively.

"I have been teaching for almost 4 years before I took this training. Scott and Ida were able to identify things I needed to work on that no one else has ever done. I now speak with clarity and confidence and they have sparked my curiosity to continue to learn more about yoga. I highly recommend this program for everyone." - Steve

Q: Do I need to practice at a studio during this training?
A: No. A home practice is sufficient for this course. However, trainees can also practice at their local studio as desired.

A: No. The course material is given in English so a certain level of comprehension is required. However, we accept teaching homework in any language and encourage practice in the language you will teach in.

Q: Is the course recognized by Yoga Alliance?
A: Yes. This course is recognized by Yoga Alliance at the 200 Hour level.

A: Yes. This training is designed for those who have never taught before. Following completion of the training, you will have the skills necessary to teach a yoga class.
