OVERVIEW & SUMMARY

This Advanced Teacher Training consists of five immersive weeks of study broken into two sessions.

The training focuses on advancing your understanding of the body, the breath, the mind and ultimately the self.

We will teach advanced postures, but performing them is not a requirement. We will focus on deepening your understanding of various philosophies of yoga by studying texts, exploring modes of knowledge and developing critical thinking. We will focus on developing a seated pranayama practice and explore various meditation techniques.

In between the two sessions, students will be required to maintain their practice and continue with their study on their own. Each student will have a practice and study plan that they execute on their own between the sessions. This will help develop yogic discipline and tools to continue on the path in a real world environment.

In addition to personal study and practice, we will address techniques to better equip one to teach both beginning and more advanced students.

"This was, by far, the best training I’ve ever been to. I’m proud to be a part of the Ghosh high standard. Every once in a while people come around to renew & upgrade the known standard, to shake up the paradigm—Ida & Scott are the dynamic duo to do just that. This was an amazing experience that upgraded my understanding of this system that I love so much."
