This book contains descriptions and photos of the 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises known as Bikram Yoga. The primary purpose of each posture is explained, along with secondary and tertiary purposes when appropriate. Common issues, including injuries, are explained, and each posture is modified to accommodate the problem. 


This book is ideal for teachers who are looking for more tools to help their students. All modifications are intended to function within the classroom setting, so the teacher can modify one student while the rest of the class continues as usual. 


Also included for some postures are "Alternate Exercises," which retain the primary benefits of a posture but are drastically different. These generally aren't appropriate for use in a classroom setting, but are useful one-on-one.
