ABOUT THE PRACTICE MANUALS

Over the years as we haved studied and practiced this yoga, we often wished that we had a detailed guide, something to use as a reference, to keep us grounded and focused in moments of confusion or curiosity. 

We practice with tireless dedication, travel far and wide to study with the best teachers and read every book we can get our hands on.

At the end of the day, though, it is only us. It is only you.

Our teachers are important, our yoga schools are important, and our community is important. 

But the true yogi lies within, and we begin to find it when we practice in solitude, listening to our bodies and becoming aware of our minds.

We wanted to create a series of books that encourages self-practice.

These books strive to give you as much information as possible about the yoga postures in the Ghosh Lineage. Details about how to setup and execute every posture, from the most basic to the most advanced.

Why do we do these postures? What do we gain, what do we improve? 

These books explain the intention and purpose of each posture and exercise, removing any mystery and strangeness from the yoga practice.

So, as you explore your practice, we will be right there beside you to ground you or push you forward, clarify and explain.
