Travel to India 2025Welcome to an experience of India!
Throughout this trip, we will travel to Kolkata, Varanasi and Mysore. Three important places in the history of yoga. Kolkata is the home of the Ghosh lineage. Mysore is the home of vinyasa. Varanasi (or Kashi, Benares) is an ancient holy city where you will experience cultural and religious practices that have existed for centuries in various forms. These are not necessarily the tourist destinations. Yet, we have chosen these for specific reasons. India is best experienced with a completely open mind and a tentative plan. We will know which days we are in which cities, but beyond that, we will go with the flow. You will have expectations despite your best attempts not to, but the experience will not be what you expect. You will be uncomfortable at times, perhaps often. You will be confounded. You will be overwhelmed. No matter what, you will have a life-changing experience. You may want to leave India by the end of the trip and yet once home, you will probably want to go back. One of the treasures of this experience, is the perspective you will get once you are home. What was normal, might now feel foreign. Your perspective will shift. Your mind will change.
